[short reflection]: post-reading from recent favorite

"One deep and serious groan is more acceptable to God than the creation of the world"

Thomas Traherne

Turning back to His heart proved difficult, yet easy. Just like a mischievous child, who has realized the potent of sinfulness that aggravates and eventually distanced himself from the aging parents - that when he comes back, no matter how much heartache the parents would have felt - in them there burns a desire to just hug and tell them, "Come back my son. And I will shower you again with my love - with all that matters".

Would therefore I be of good courage to turn back now and return to the path, just as the prodigal son? Would I?
